Carlee Russell, a 25 year old nursing student was driving home when she saw an unattended toddler on the side of the road. She stopped her car to check on the child and called 911. When the officers arrived at the scene, Carlee and the child were missing. I ssei Sagawa also known as The Kobe Cannibal, was a Japanese murderer, cannibal, and necrophiliac known for the killing of Renée Hartevelt in Paris in 1981. A 31-year-old named Christian Nielsen had recently landed a position as a line cook at The Sudbury Inn in Bethel and chose to reside at the Black Bear Bed and Breakfast in Newry, Maine. Nielsen spent about two months living and working in the area before committing a heinous act. His crime involved the brutal murder and dismemberment of four individuals and two dogs. Among the victims were 50-year-old James Whitehurst from Batesville, Arkansas, who had been residing at the inn for business purposes, later identified as the live-in handyman; 65-year-old Julie Bullard, the innkeeper; and Julie's daughter, 30-year-old Selby Bullard, along with Selby's friend and coworker, 43-year-old Cynthia Beatson. The two dogs belonged to Julie Bullard. A man named David Fuller, aged 68, took the lives of two young women, Wendy Knell (25) and Caroline Pierce (20), back in 1987. In subsequent years, starting around 2007, he committed vile acts by sexually exploiting the bodies of 101 deceased individuals at the various morgues where he worked. It was not until the year 2020 that authorities finally connected him to these heinous murders. This revelation prompted a thorough investigation that led to a search of his residence. Shockingly, during the search, law enforcement stumbled upon a collection of nearly 900,000 files depicting him abusing the corpses of female victims aged between nine and 100 years old.
