Kouri Richins

A young mother of 3 boys (Kouri Richins) found her husband (Eric Richins) dead in their bedroom. She then wrote a children's book on how to deal with grief inspired by her 3 sons. Her book was well received and she was even featured on her local TV news station. Her book was quickly pulled from Amazon and book stores when it was announced that she was arrested for the murder of her husband.

The Bed & Breakfast Massacre in Newry, Maine

A 31-year-old named Christian Nielsen had recently landed a position as a line cook at The Sudbury Inn in Bethel and chose to reside at the Black Bear Bed and Breakfast in Newry, Maine. Nielsen spent about two months living and working in the area before committing a heinous act. His crime involved the brutal murder and dismemberment of four individuals and two dogs. Among the victims were 50-year-old James Whitehurst from Batesville, Arkansas, who had been residing at the inn for business purposes, later identified as the live-in handyman; 65-year-old Julie Bullard, the innkeeper; and Julie's daughter, 30-year-old Selby Bullard, along with Selby's friend and coworker, 43-year-old Cynthia Beatson. The two dogs belonged to Julie Bullard. REX HEUERMANN AKA GILGO BEACH SERIAL KILLER

Long Island law-enforcement officials made a significant announcement on July 14th, stating that they finally cracked the long-standing Gilgo Beach serial-killer aka the Long Island Serial Killer case following a 12-year investigation. During a news conference, Suffolk County district attorney Raymond A. Tierney disclosed that local architect Rex Heuermann had been apprehended and charged with the murder of three women. Their remains were discovered near Gilgo Beach in December 2010. Additionally, Rex Heuermann is the primary suspect in the death of another woman found in the same area. Meanwhile, authorities are actively examining the cases of at least seven other victims whose remains were found nearby. However, it is crucial to note that, as of now, they have not attributed those deaths to Rex Heuermann.
